For the month of January, students recognized Mr. Joe Schmiesing as their HERO (Helpful, Engaged, Respectful/Responsible, Outstanding).

Mr. Schmiesing is an amazing teacher. He's very knowledgeable about what he teaches, always gives thorough explanations, and goes out of his way to answer a student's question. He genuinely listens to his students, respects them, and treats them as adults while still demanding hard work from them. He challenges his students to be better in all aspects of life - in and out of the classroom. He truly cares about his students' souls and teaches practical and effective ways to grow spiritually and connect with Christ on a deeper level.
