Lehman Band Director Katie Welch announced that junior Mara Flood was selected, for the first time in school history, to participate in The Ohio State University Honor Band.

She was selected among nearly 600 students across the state of Ohio and will be participating in this ensemble from January 14 -  16. “The Ohio State Honor Band is one of the most prestigious in the state of Ohio, and we are excited to have her represent the Music Department,” said Welch. 

Ashlyn Hamblin and Janessa Coverstone were selected as alternates for the Honor Band, meaning that if someone drops out, they are next in line to participate.
