Erich Courtad is the new head coach of the Lehman Catholic boy's soccer team. Coming to Lehman with a wealth of experience, Courtad's love of soccer started at a young age - playing on a local recreation team in Carey, Oh. In high school, he played outside right-wing for four years and played intramural soccer in college. In 2016, he joined a competitive men's soccer team in the Dayton Amateur Soccer League and continues to play as their defensive left-back.

His coaching career started while he was in high school - coaching the sixth-grade boy's basketball team at Our Lady of Consolation. More recently, he was the head soccer coach for the City of Troy SAY program, coaching youth ages 8 to 16 years old, from  2014 to 2020. He's been the assistant coach for the boy's elite team at Dayton Futbol Academy since 2018. Aside from coaching, Erich is a certified group fitness instructor, personal trainer, and heath &  wellness specialist.
