LEHMAN CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL HOLDS ANNUAL SCIENCE FAIR

Lehman Catholic High School held its annual Science Fair on Wednesday, Feb. 12, in the Sever Family Gymnasium. LCHS students submitted 57 projects to be exhibited and judged. Thirteen students received superior ratings, qualifying them to participate in the district competition. Students must earn at least 36 out of a possible 40 points to receive a superior rating.

Lehman Catholic Junior Brandon Jones received the highest rating of 40 points for his project, Effectiveness of Different Earth Ions on Preventing Alpha - Amalason Denaturation.

The Governor’s Thomas Edison Award for Excellence in Biotechnology & Biomedical Research was awarded to junior Brandon Jones and senior Annie Stiver. Senior David Rossman earned the Governor’s Thomas Edison Award for Excellence in Advanced Materials for his project. 

All students who participated in the Science Fair received a certificate from the Ohio Academy of Science.

Lehman is grateful to the judges for giving their time and expertise to judge the projects. The District Science Fair will be a hybrid event held on March 12, 2022. Those who receive superiors at that level will be invited to the State Science Fair.
