The boys' varsity⛳️ team defeated Milton Union at Shelby Oaks Monday evening with a score of 159 to 171. Lehman is now 5-0 in TRC play and remains in sole possession of first place in the overall team standings. The team score of 159 was led by match medalist Henry Petersen, shooting a 35, Jack Williams 38, Carter Rigel 42, Braden Ulbrich 44, Shane Frantz 45, and Matthew Adams 47
Next up, the Cavs host Covington this Wednesday at 4 p.m., and then host Troy Christian and Bethel in a tri-match this Saturday at 8:30 a.m. Both matches are at Shelby Oaks.
In the TRC individual standings, seniors Henry Petersen and Jack Williams lead all individuals with 37.4 and 37.6 year-to-date average scores. Shane Frantz is 5th with 41, while Braden, Matthew, and Carter are all in the top-20

The 🎾 Lady Cavs 🎾 finished runner-up in the Van Wert Cougar Classic!
Team Results: 1st - Elida, 2nd - Lehman Catholic, and 3rd - St.Marys and Wauseon. The Cavaliers were led by our second doubles team, Kail Pleasant and Mahleah Roullhac, who medaled with a 2nd-place finish. First doubles team, Kyla McGinnis and Dublin Cooper, finished 4th. All three singles players finished 3rd: Ashreal Alvarez at third singles, Brooklyn Fortkamp at second singles, and Charlotte Spaide at first singles.
Way to go, ladies!

Yesterday, the 🎾 Lady Cavs 🎾 took the win over Sidney, 3-2! Junior Ashreal Alvarez won 6-4, 6-4 at 3rd singles. Both doubles teams won: Seniors Kyla McGinnis and Sophomore Dublin Cooper 6-4, 6-1 at first doubles, and Senior Kali Pleasant and Junior Mahleah Roullhac 7-5, 6-2 at 2nd doubles. Our varsity Cavalier of the Match was Senior Brooklyn Fortkamp, who lost a long 3-setter at 2nd singles. Our JV Cavaliers of the Match were Sophomore Shelby Hoskins and Freshman Kamryn Dahlinghaus, who won at JV doubles, their first-ever win! Way to go, Cavaliers!

The boys' varsity team has continued strong Three Rivers Conference play this season! Last Friday, Aug 15, the Cavs secured a solid win defeating Riverside 161 to 179 at Shelby Oaks! The team score of 161 was led by Henry Petersen with a 38, Jack Williams 39, Shane Frantz 41, Matthew Adams and Braden Ulbrich shot 43, and Carter Rigel had a 45. Yesterday, the Cavs earned a crucial win over Bethel at Sugar Isle with a score of 154 to Bethel's 163. A rain delay extended the match to near darkness. Jack Williams was the match medalist with a 35, Henry Petersen 38, Shane Frantz 39, Braden Ulbrich 42, and Matthew Adams and Carter Rigel both with 45s. The Cavs currently lead the TRC standings with a 3-0 record.
Last week, the Cavs competed at three invitationals:
On Aug. 11, the boys travelled to Shawnee Country Club in Lima, OH, playing in the 2nd Annual Shawnee Invitational vs. schools from the OHSAA Northwest district. The boys finished tied for 7th of 11 teams with a team score of 328. This field included mostly 2024 D1 state qualifiers.
On Aug. 12, the boys travelled to the Virtues Golf Club in Hanover, OH, for the Licking Valley Invitational against schools from the OHSAA Central and East districts. The boys finished tied for 6th of 19 teams with a team score of 342 on one of the most difficult courses on the schedule this season.
On Aug. 14, the boys travelled to Denison Golf Club in Granville, OH, playing in the annual Rodney Butt Classic Invitational vs. schools from throughout Ohio. This invitational is the largest in Ohio, with 40 teams playing in two waves. One of only two D3 schools in the field, the boys finished 11th of 20 in the afternoon wave, with a team score of 316.
Next up this week: Wednesday, Aug 20 - TRC match vs. Covington at Echo Hills.
