Happy Monday! Mrs. Stiver’s 8th grade science class is investigating kinetic and static friction to start our week off.

Good Morning Parents,
We just wanted to make you aware that the fire department is at school this morning because a cable line came down across the road and landed on top of the Houston bus. The line was removed. They have also contacted the electric company to let them know that the strong winds over the weekend caused some damage to the electric pole.
There is no threat to anyone's safety and we will let you know if we need to do anything different moving forward, once we hear from the electric company.
Kindest Regards,
Denise Stauffer

We are in the final stretch of the Candy Sale - additional candy orders must be turned in by Thursday and ALL money is due by Friday. Contact Stephanie Sollmann to place additional orders or if you have questions or turn in order forms to the office.

Picture day is Thursday, October 3rd! Order forms are being sent home with all students today or tomorrow, so be sure to prompt your children to give you the form when they get home from school. Forms should be returned with the student ON picture day, not before, and will be given directly to the photographer, not turned into the office. Pictures can also be ordered online, as sent out and posted previously. As a reminder, please remember the school dress code for picture day from the K-8 handbook:
Since school pictures are taken from the waist and above, students will be asked to wear uniform bottoms with a dressy blouse or top. Students cannot wear sleeveless, bare midriff, or low-cut tops.
Little Angels Preschool and Pre-K do not need to wear uniform bottoms since they do not wear the Holy Angels uniform yet.

Please help us welcome Lauren Rose, our new Intervention Specialist for this school year! She has been doing great work already these first three weeks.
I am Lauren Rose, the K-5 intervention specialist at Holy Angels this year. I graduated this past April from Bowling Green State University with a mild-intensive intervention specialist degree. During my time in college I got the opportunity to work with high school students in a resource room, kindergarten students in a self-contained classroom, and with 4th-5th grade students working specifically with reading intervention. I got married this past May to my high school sweetheart and we are now expecting twins this upcoming February! In my spare time I love exploring and hiking at National Parks, as well as doing anything art related. I love being an intervention specialist, because I have the unique opportunity to get to know my couple students really well and shape instruction to meet their individual needs.
