Fire Safety Week
Our Little Angels Pre-K class started off their week with lots of pumpkin exploration. They got to paint a pumpkin and explore the inside of a pumpkin by separating seeds for Mr. Baker, our custodian and maintenance manager, to take home and bake for the class to try!
Mrs. Stiver‘s 8th grade science students are studying Newton's Laws by creating bottle rockets.
Monday Meditation
Mrs Stiver’s 7th grade science class proved that photosynthesis releases oxygen and takes in carbon dioxide by the use of the bromothymol blue indicator. Science in action!
Congratulations to our September 1000 Club winners, Heather Burdiss and Karen Wertz! It’s not too late to get your tickets in! We still have 6 more chances to win $500 this year! Tickets can be purchased in the school office for $20 a piece. Information and tickets will go out in early December for our 2025 1000 Club.
Lehman Jr. High Athletics Mum Sale Jeans/Sweatpants reward day will be Thursday, October 10th. Families who are eligible to participate received an email informing them of their eligibility. Thank you for everyone who supported the sale!

COURTESY – You are pleasant and polite and have good manners. When you are pleasant and polite it makes people feel valued and respected. You say ‘Please’, ‘Thank you’, ‘Your welcome’, and ‘Sorry’. You know they are ways that let people know you appreciate them and care about them – courtesy is a way of showing your love.

Holy Angels School is hosting our annual Pet Blessing on the Feast of St. Francis, Friday, October 4, 2024! School families are invited and encouraged to bring their family pets to the church parking lot for a blessing from Father at 2:45pm. Students will be dismissed immediately following the blessing. All students will walk out to the church parking lot with their teachers and students who have a family member bringing a pet will be able to go meet their family at that time. All other students will stay in a group with their class and teacher until the conclusion of the pet blessing and dismissal afterwards. Picture day is this Thursday, October 3rd! Order forms were sent home with all students and should be returned with the student ON picture day, not before, and will be given directly to the photographer, not turned into the office. As a reminder, please remember the school dress code for picture day from the K-8 handbook: Since school pictures are taken from the waist and above, students will be asked to wear uniform bottoms with a dressy blouse or top. Students cannot wear sleeveless, bare midriff, or low-cut tops. Little Angels Preschool and Pre-K do not need to wear uniform bottoms since they do not wear the Holy Angels uniform yet.

Update for the Lehman High School Homecoming Game tonight: Due to the weather, there will be NO hamburgers for the first 200 students. As of now, the game is still scheduled to be played as planned and partner school students get in free.

We are excited to officially send out our invitation to our 2024 Grandparent's Day celebration! Check out the attached flyer for more information. A physical copy of the invite along with the RSVP form will be sent home with oldest/only students today, or Monday for those absent today. Although Grandparent's Day is on a Friday this year, our Little Angels Preschoolers and half day Pre-Kindergarteners are invited and encouraged to come to school with their grandparents and join us for the 2 hour duration of the Grandparent's Day program!

Lehman High School Homecoming is this week! They are inviting all partner school students to this Friday's football game -- FREE gate entry if wearing school apparel and FREE burgers for the first 200 kids to enter the stadium. We hope to see you there!
Good Morning, Holy Angels School will run on a normal or regular start time today. Sidney City Schools is on a 2-hour delay so any Holy Angels Students who ride Sidney City Schools' buses will be picked up 2-hours later. Thank you and Have a Blessed Day.
