Yesterday, Lehman Catholic defeated Riverside at Cherokee Hills, 164 to 202. Match medalist Henry Petersen shot 39, Jack Williams and Shane Frantz both scored 41, Braden Ulbrich 43, Carter Rigel 46, and Matthew Adams 52.

The final TRC matches are this week!
vs. Miami East on September 10 at 4 p.m. at Lakeland Golf Course
vs. Troy Christian on September 11 at 4 p.m. at Piqua Country Club

We are thrilled to announce the completion of the newly renovated Pippy Booth Tennis Courts at Lehman Catholic High School. Originally constructed in 1991 and last refreshed in 2013, the courts had developed irreparable cracks over the past twelve years—necessitating a full renovation.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our donors, the support of the City of Sidney, and the dedication of our school community, we now have a first-class facility that will serve both our student-athletes and the broader community for years to come.

Please join us for a special celebration on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at 4:30 p.m. as we commemorate this exciting milestone, honor and thank our supporters, receive a special blessing for the facility, and officially open the courts for play.

We look forward to sharing this moment with all who made it possible. Special thanks to the LCHS administration, the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, and the many dedicated tennis supporters throughout our community. Your commitment has brought this project to life.

We would like to extend a special invitation to all current and retired law enforcement, firefighters, EMS personnel, and military members — along with your families — for free admission to join us for our home football game on Thursday, September 11, at Sidney Memorial Stadium as the Cavaliers take on Northridge.

Last night, the Lady Cavs played their first match on the newly renovated courts against Springboro B. Stats: Charlotte Spaide won 6-3, 6-0 at first singles. Brooklyn Fortkamp lost 6-4, 7-6 at 2nd singles. Ashriel Alvarez won 7-5,4-6, 11-9 at 3rd singles. Kyla McGinnis and Dublin Cooper lost 6-1, 6-2 at first doubles. Yesterday the Lehman Catholic Boys Varsity Golf team celebrated seniors -- Henry Petersen, Jack Williams and Carter Rigel -- at their last home TRC match at Shelby Oaks. Cavaliers played Miami East, winning their ninth straight match, 153 to 165. They are 9-0 in the Three Rivers Conference and first place in overall standings.

The team score of 153 was led by match medalist Henry Petersen shooting a 32 which ties a Lehman 9-hole record, that has gone unmatched for 15 years! He now joins Nate Fridley, Will Fridley, Peter Berlekamp and Bill Burke with this special honor! Other varsity scores were: Jack Williams 40, Carter Rigel 40, Braden Ulbrich 41, Shane Frantz 45 and Matthew Adams 47.

Last Saturday, the Cavs defeated Troy Christian and Bethel in a tri-match. Lehman 155, Bethel 175 and Troy Christian 182. Jack Williams (match medalist) and Henry Petersen shot 33 and 34, respectively. Matthew Adams 42, Shane Frantz and Braden Ulbrich 46 and Carter Rigel 48.

Next up the Cavs travel to Reid Park North in Springfield for the David Christoff Memorial Invitational this Saturday.
