Last Friday, Lehman celebrated May Crowning. Anna Minneci, daughter of Vito and Christine Minneci of Maplewood, crowned Mary. Attendants were Lehman Catholic seniors Zipporah Bezy, daughter of Paul and Bree Bezy of Sidney; Emma Largent, daughter of Tom and Valerie Largent of New Bremen; Kyla McGinnis, daughter of Daniel McGinnis and Bridget Shepherd of Piqua; and Noelle Reineke, daughter of James Reineke of Troy and Melissa Anderson of Troy. Congratulations, Cavaliers!

We are excited to announce that Nick Johnston has been named the Junior High and High School Athletic Director! Welcome to the team, Nick!
Last night, Olivia Sherry and Lilly Graham were awarded scholarships through the Workforce Partnership of Shelby County during the Workforce Partnership Signing Event at the Historic Sidney Theatre. This scholarship will cover the cost of their STNA/CNA training program this summer, including tuition ($900), a set of scrubs, and a completion incentive. We are proud of Olivia and Lilly for taking this step toward serving others and furthering their future careers in healthcare.

Lehman Catholic's May Crowning is tomorrow, May 8. The ceremony is at 1:20 p.m. in the chapel before Mass. A second crowning ceremony will immediately follow Mass at the Statue of the Immaculate Conception in Lehman’s courtyard. Join us!

Progress Piqua, a local nonprofit service organization (formerly the Piqua Optimist Club), hosts an annual “Outstanding Youth Award” Luncheon to recognize exceptional students in the community. Schools are invited to nominate students who exemplify outstanding character, with selections based on qualities such as positivity, respect, optimism, gratitude, responsibility, enthusiasm, and selfless service to others.
