Our Lady Cavs Varsity Volleyball Team defeated Miami East last night to remain unbeaten in the league 3-2, 25-12, 16-25, 25-19, 20-25, 15-12.
Stat leaders were:
Madison Rank 34 assists, also achieving her 2000 career assists mark last night, 12 digs, 1 ace, 1 block
Reese Hoskins 13 kills, 2 blocks
Bailey Cotterman 12 kills, 1 block, 1 ace
Lilly Graham 15 digs
Taylor Platfoot 6 kills
Heidi Hudson 3 blocks
Lehman JV also won 22-25, 25-21, 25-11

Today we had all three Strength & Conditioning classes participate in a tribute for 9/11. There was sweat, a little bit of suffering, and tons of remembrance. We took on a grueling 30-minute tribute workout designed to honor the heroes and victims of September 11th. Every single athlete left it all on the track:
1 Mile Run - to open and close the workout, symbolizing the endurance and sacrifice of the first responders who rushed toward danger.
9 Burpees - for the 9th month.
11 Push-ups for the 11th day.
20 Air Squats & 1 Minute Wall Sits to honor the year 2001.
We are incredibly proud of the grit, respect, commemoratory each class displayed. We will Never Forget!

Last night was SENIOR NIGHT for our boys golf team! Shane Frantz has gotten a Varsity Letter all 4 years. Meyer Pickrel who lettered this year shot a 40 and was Medalist on September 1 as they played Covington at Echo Hills. Liam Grunkemeyer who lettered this year shot his best round ever this year with a 37! Congrats to our seniors!

Last weekend, our Cross Country Team Dominated! HS boys 3rd out of 19 teams. Kieran O’Leary had the high place, 13th out of 176 with a 17:36 finish. Katie Schmiesing led the girls, getting 13th out of 143 with a 21:33, girls were 4th out 18 teams. Come support them this weekend at Piqua High School on Saturday at 7pm!
