Dear Lehman Catholic families and community,
Through careful consideration and thorough communication with our football coaches, the decision was made to cancel the football game against Riverside High School scheduled for next weekend.
The game was ultimately cancelled to ensure Riverside was guaranteed their game that featured their own Senior Night. Due to multiple injuries and low numbers of available players, if we suffer one or two injuries this weekend, we may not be able to compete next week. Without being able to guarantee our health and the ability to play them in such an important game for their community, I suggested to Riverside to see if there was a team that would be able to play them.
After Riverside found an available team that could guarantee a game, both athletic departments had further discussion. Riverside asked if we were 100% unable to play the game. My response was an emphatic "no, but we also cannot 100% guarantee that we CAN play." Due to our uncertainty, and trying to live the faith, we cancelled the game out of respect to their program, their seniors, and their community, which allowed them to schedule a replacement team.
We will play our Week 10 home game against Covington High School, as scheduled. Please come support our football team tomorrow night, as we host the Bethel Bees and celebrate our Fall Senior Athletes and Marching Band for Senior Night!
For Christ,
Nick Johnston

There's nothing like pancakes and a lesson in federalism to start the day!
Senior American Government students put their culinary skills to the test yesterday by researching different forms of federalism and then turning them into pancakes showing the different layers! Special thanks to Mrs. Shappie for donating her griddle!

On Friday, Oct 2nd, 32 Lehman students made the trek to Columbus for the annual March for Life. After participating in Mass at St. Joseph's cathedral, they gathered with hundreds of others at the statehouse to collectively pray and witness on behalf of the pro-life movement. Our students demonstrated an inspiring zeal in defense of the unborn. Despite the rain and chill, they exuded joy and remained focused on making their presence matter. Several students shared that it was a day that even impacted their own faith-lives in a new and deeper way. Thank you to Shelby County Right to Life for making this important trip possible for our students!
⭐️⭐️ A special thanks to Friday night's game ball sponsors -- Catholic Social Services of the Miami Valley and Ratermann Construction Company. ⭐️⭐️ Thank you for supporting the Cavaliers!
