Congratulations to Coach Nickles and the Jr. High Wrestling team for taking 2nd place in their first tournament of the season on Saturday at Milton Union. The highlights:
⭐️ Kolson earned a Major Decision win over a tough Springfield wrestler.
⭐️ Dominic battled hard, going three full periods with a tough Springfield wrestler.
⭐️ Miles secured a beautiful 1:16 pin over Troy.
⭐️ Huxley dominated with three first-round pins—Springfield (0:46), Troy (0:29), and Versailles (1:27)—and brought home a well-deserved 2nd place.
⭐️ Congratulations to Coach Nickels on his first win as a coach, with Miles Cathcart’s 1:16 pin over Troy.
Fun Fact: Coach Nickles earned 1st place as a wrestler in 2014 at the very same tournament!
