The 🎾 Lady Cavs🎾 won their first match of the season, 5-0 over Van Wert. It was their first win against Van Wert since the first match in 2019! Plus, it was the 50th win for John Brunner as assistant coach at Lehman! ⭐️

⛳️ Boys' Golf Update ⛳️
The boys' varsity team opened Three Rivers Conference play last Friday, August 8, with a solid win, defeating Milton Union 149 to 167 at Homestead Golf Course in Tipp City! The team score of 149 was led by Henry Petersen and Jack Williams, co-medalists -- both finishing with a +1 36. Shane Frantz shot 38, and Matthew Adams shot 39. Carter Rigel had a 41, and Braden Ulbrich rounded out the varsity squad, shooting a 47.
Earlier this season, the Cavs competed at the Talawanda Invitational on 8/1 with a team score of 349, finishing in 11th place of 20 schools, mostly large D1 schools from the OHSAA Southwest District.
On August 4, the boys competed at TPC Rivers Bend, a course used annually by the LPGA Tour, at the Indian Hill Invitational, finishing 13th of 17 with a team score of 343. This field included six state qualifiers in 2024 and two schools from Kentucky.
Yesterday, the boys competed at the 2nd annual Shawnee Invitational, hosted by Shawnee Country Club in Lima. The team shot a 328 team score, good for a 7th place tie out of 11 schools, all from the OHSAA Northwest District. Individual scores were Henry Petersen 77, Jack Williams 78, Shane Frantz shot 85, and Carter Rigel 88. Matthew Adams rounded out the squad with a 91.
Next up this week: Tuesday, Aug 12 - Licking Valley Invitational at Virtues Golf Club in Hanover, OH. Thursday, Aug 14 - Rodney Butt Invitational hosted by Denison Golf Club in Granville, OH. Friday, Aug 15 - first home TRC match vs. Riverside at Shelby Oaks.
