The stats: High school girls placed an impressive 8th of 25 teams overall, and second among Division 4 schools. High school boys came in 12th of 26 teams overall, and 4th among Division 4 teams. Lehman Catholic Boys Golf - THREE RIVERS CONFERENCE CHAMPIONS! ⭐️⭐️
The boys' varsity team wrapped up Three Rivers Conference play on Thursday at Cherokee Hills Golf Course in Bellefontaine with a TRC Tournament victory, closing out the season undefeated with an 18-0 record!
The team score of 321 was led by Shane Frantz 79, Jack Williams 80, Henry Petersen 81, Braden Ulbrich 81, Matthew Adams 86, and Carter Rigel 94.
This championship comes after the Cavaliers finished runner-up in the league three years prior. The tournament was also the final step in determining the individual all-conference teams.
Henry Petersen earned TRC Player of the Year and achieved first-team honors this season. Since the inception of the TRC, Henry is the ONLY golfer to have been named four times to the first team!
Jack Williams finished 2nd in overall league points and also earned first team honors for the 2nd time!
Shane Frantz and Braden Ulbrich finished with second-team league honors, and Carter Rigel was named honorable mention this season.
Finally, Head Coach Eric Harlamert was named TRC Boys Golf Coach of the Year!
The Boys Varsity team will compete today in Cincinnati on the Mill Course at The Tilton Invitational, continuing their preparations for the OHSAA District Tournament on September 29.
GO CAVS!

The Lehman Catholic Boys Varsity Golf team finished in first place at the OHSAA D3 Shelby Oaks Sectional. Fourteen area SW District teams, with 69 golfers, competed for a spot in the D3 District Tournament to be held on Sept. 29 at Pipestone GC in Miamisburg.
The Cavaliers, earning their first team tournament win this season, finished with an overall team score of 313, which was 14 strokes ahead of runner-up Botkins, 327. Henry Petersen shot a 77 (T-2nd overall), Jack Williams and Braden Ulbrich both shot 78 (T-4th overall), Shane Frantz shot 80 (8th place overall), and Carter Rigel shot 82 (T-12th overall). Next up is the Three Rivers Conference Tournament, today at Cherokee Hills GC in Bellefontaine. Go, Cavs!

They will learn more about our community, build awareness of Shelby County United Way agencies and programs, practice and grow their leadership skill, network with students from other schools & communities, and strengthen their sense of civic engagement and service.
