Boys Golf Update ⛳️ Varsity is 6-0 ⭐️ in the Three Rivers Conference and tied for first place ⭐️ out of eight teams! August 26, vs. Troy Christian at Miami Shores Golf Course | Varsity won, 166 to 177. Jack Williams was a first-time medalist with a score of 38. Henry Petersen 40, Braden Ulbrich 42, Shane Frantz 46, and JV golfers who joined us: Kylan Foster 63, and Carter Lawson 70. Congratulations, Jack! Way to go, Cavs! Thanks to a generous grant from the Piqua Community Foundation, several clinicians were invited to work with students in the marching band and Limelighters during camps this summer. These experts exposed students to varied teaching styles. Alumnus Thomas Schmiesing and Kelly Walker, a choir director from the Cincinnati area, worked with the Limelighters. Retired band director Elaine Schweller-Snyder and Lehman teacher Morgan Thurmond worked with the marching band on brass techniques and marching fundamentals. Alumnus Skyler DeNise and Madison O'Leary focused on the color guard and woodwind routines. Lastly, Fort Loramie band director Kyle Knapke brought his skills to small group rehearsals.

Yesterday the Lady Cavs finished third at the Van Wert Tennis Invitational out of six teams. 1st - Elida, 2nd - Van Wert, 3rd - Lehman Catholic, 4th - Wauseon, 5th - St Mary's, and 6th - Defiance. Sophomore Charlotte Spaide: 3rd in first singles. Junior Brokklyn Fortkamp: 5th in 2nd singles. Sophomore Ashreal Alvarez: 3rd singles runner-up. Senior Eliza Westerheide and Junior Kyla McGinnis: 1st doubles runner-up. Freshman Dublin Cooper and Junior Kali Pleasant: 5th in 2nd doubles. Congratulations!
