Lehman Catholic High School -

LCHS senior Bailey Cooper, daughter of Kyle Cooper and the late Alan Cooper of Piqua, was chosen by her peers to crown Mary at the upcoming May Crowning on May 9. Attendants and LCHS seniors are Callie Giguere, daughter of Jamie and Angie Giguere of Piqua, and Anya Kolb, daughter of Kurt Kolb and Christina Bretney of Sidney. Congratulations, Cavaliers.

The Lehman Catholic Science Olympiad team competed in the State Science Olympiad competition on Saturday, April 26, at OSU. The team placed 37th out of 40 schools from all over Ohio. Lehman was the smallest school participating in the competition. Congratulations to the following students for placing in the top 25: ⭐️ Brian Bauman & Adam Flood placed 17th in Air Trajectory ⭐️ O’Keefe Cooper, Anna Minneci, & Chase Fitchpatrick placed 18th in Codebusters ⭐️ Jack Earhart & Brennan Potts placed 22 nd in Bungee Drop Other team members were Luke Courtad, Alex Goubeaux, Ash Alvarez, Olivia Hudgel, Emi Wray, Jack Meyer, Ryan Meyer, Cash Gephart, and Emma Largent. Congratulations to the team for qualifying and participating in the State competition! Thank you to volunteer coaches: Tom Frantz, Jim Hemm, Tom Largent, Michael Largent, Vicki Quinter, Scott Streng, Kim Wenning, and coordinator Sister Ginny. A grant from the Miami County Foundation, the Steve Wenning Memorial, and the Lehman Science Department funded the team.

The 🥎 Lady Cavs 🥎 are on the road tonight! Varsity plays the Lady Greyhounds at Dixie. JV plays the Lady Vikings at Miami East. Both games start at 5 p.m. Go, Cavs!

Cavaliers Kali Pleasant, Anna Minneci, O'Keefe Cooper, and Zipporah Bezy are participating in the Bridging Back program of Workforce Partnerships of Shelby County. Yesterday, they met their mentors. This program connects Shelby County students to mentors in careers in Shelby County with the goal of bringing students back to the area after college graduation.
