Update from The Ohio Department of Higher Education

At the recommendation of Chancellor Randy Gardner and Superintendent of Public Instruction Paolo DeMaria, previously existing statutes, rules, and guidance relating to the College Credit Plus (CCP) program have been updated in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis. The updates attempt to provide as much flexibility as possible for students while continuing to implement the CCP program.

The extended deadline for nonpublic students to complete the electronic Intent and OH-ID  application is May 1, 2020. Families can upload the appropriate documents including admission letters from colleges (provisional or fully accepted or some other document showing progress with application). The date of May 1, 2020, allows for timely processing of applications so that students can receive funding award letters and participate during the summer term if they so choose.

Update from Edison State Community College

In order to be accepted into the CCP program with Edison State, students need an overall cumulative 3.0 high school GPA. In order to take courses that have college-level English and Math placement requirements, students' grades and GPA will be reviewed by Edison State staff to determine eligibility. They will begin the GPA review of students the week of April 20. Edison State will review Lehman Catholic students as soon as possible due to the May 1 deadline for the CCP Funding Application on your OH-ID account. Once Edison State completes the GPA reviews, a letter will be emailed to students at the email address provided on the admission application.
