On Saturday evening,  October 23, Lehman celebrated head Coach Dick Roll’s 16 years of service to the Lehman community as Head Football Coach.

His tenure began in 2006, taking over a program that had won a total of six games the prior three years combined. That year, Coach took his first squad to the state playoffs and on the way there, defeated in overtime the defending State Champions in exciting fashion. That was the first of 11 playoff seasons for Dick Roll with the Cavaliers. He has led the program during that tenure to 2 state final four appearances as well as an additional 2 elite eight appearances. With numerous conference championships during his time at Lehman Catholic Dick has also earned Coach of the Year accolades at the conference and district levels on a number of occasions. He not only has more playoff appearances and wins then all other coaches combined in Lehman history, but also is the winningest football coach in Lehman history with 112 (113 if win) wins. All told during his 43 year head coaching career including his former stint at Plymouth high school, Coach Roll has amassed an impressive 197 victories!
