In America, traditional education has provided the opportunity for young men and women to spend four years in high school. Those are years when tremendous physical, psychological, and social growth occurs. At Lehman Catholic, we also recognize the simultaneous opportunity and necessity for spiritual, intellectual, moral, aesthetic, and emotional growth.

Perhaps more than ever before, the need for a high school education that will prepare students for the future is evident. We simply must prepare students not only to learn to read and write, but to take their place in society, knowing right from wrong, and making moral decisions. At Lehman, we are committed to providing students with educational and life experiences that will assist in the transition to adulthood through the example that Christ lived.

Beyond any other societal organization, the school, by its very purpose, should help students sharpen their intellect, develop the ability for right judgment, hone the sense of culture and promote values. Catholic schools are especially prepared to meet this purpose.

Life is full of opportunities. If we take advantage of those opportunities that help us to grow in our love of God and of each other, we will be well-prepared for the future, no matter what that future may hold in store for us.

Certainly I welcome to the school community students who have a strong desire to improve their ability to contribute to a world beyond themselves.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if I can be of assistance to you.
