Tuition assistance may be available to students wishing to attend Lehman but who feel that they cannot afford the full cost of tuition. The Lehman High School Scholarship Fund provides funds for financial aid. Applications for financial aid are available, and may be obtained by contacting the school’s business office. 

Eligibility is determined by an outside agency (School Scholarship Service). Once the application has been completed and returned to the School Scholarship Service, it will be processed and the school notified of the amount of award the family needs. The school, in turn, will notify the applicant family of the amount of tuition assistance for which they qualify.

The deadline for making application for tuition assistance is May 10 for the upcoming academic year. Applications are processed as they are received, and early application is recommended. Applicants will be notified on or before June 15 of the amount of tuition assistance for which they qualify. 

All application materials remain confidential. The names of those receiving tuition assistance also remain confidential. 

All tuition assistance is granted in the form of long-term, no-interest loans, repayable at some future date when and if the family can afford to repay.
