Liturgy & Prayer

As a Catholic school, recognizing the central role our Lord Jesus Christ has in our lives, Lehman Catholic High School strives to bring Christ into the lives of our students, faculty and staff.  The students, faculty and staff of Lehman Catholic High School gather each week to celebrate the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.  While schedules may vary throughout the academic year, our weekly Mass is usually celebrated each Friday at 10:00 A.M.

In addition to the liturgy, the students, staff and broader community of Lehman Catholic are invited to adore our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament each week.  Adoration is held on Mass days during the lunch mods.  Students are free to forego lunch and spend time in prayer instead.  Benediction is at 1:15 P.M.

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton once said, “In Holy Communion our hearts are the tabernacles of the Divinity. We should carefully guard the casket containing so precious a jewel.”  In order to “carefully guard” the “tabernacles of the Divinity” that we are, the Sacrament of Reconciliation is made available to the Lehman Catholic community each Wednesday during Mod 13-14 or by making an appointment with the school chaplain.
